Ascent Leadership and Management Consulting is set up and managed by a team of professionals with higher management education and vast industry experience and carry with them top class professional practice in the field and have an immeasurable wealth of real-world expertise.  We have expertise of providing consultancy, training and outsourcing services to a wide spectrum of clients in verticals such as manufacturing, heavy and light engineering, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology,  mines, railways, gas, electronics, food, chemicals,  government departments and NGOs.

Our core value is to build client capabilities and make them competent and independent to handle the issues in constantly changing and demanding market environments and not to make them dependent on us.  We do not sell a service just for our business needs. Unless we clearly establish what service profiles the client needs, we don’t give a proposal or commercial terms. We take sufficiently required time in understanding the realistic needs of the client and conduct a decent pre-proposal study, before we submit an approach paper to the client. Only when the approach is accepted, we submit the detailed proposal with commercial terms. For us, this time and effort is our investment for building a genuine professional relationship with our clients.

In the constantly shifting and growing market place, different management and technology tools and practices keep emerging all the time. (Reengineering, Bench Marking, TQM tools, ERP, Down-sizing, Out-sourcing, Networking and similar ones). We don’t influence the client to adopt this or that tool for short term gains. We enable the client Organization to gain mastery into understanding and managing the processes that impact their business and Organizational growth. Depending on the appropriateness, we help them suitably adopt the fundamental values and principles advocated by these practices and to integrate them into their working systems.

How do we approach our client relationships?
Ascent maintains a staff of highly experienced business-organisation process consultants. We take our consulting relationships through carefully planned and meaningfully evolving steps. During these timelines, our consultants, trainers and professional associates help our clients to identify operational areas and processes which can be improved, resulting in higher product-service quality, improved operational efficiencies, cost savings and enjoyable work-life.

Need Identification
A team or an individual consultant visits the client organisation for a few days to identify along with a select client team the business processes and operational areas that can be improved. They adopt appropriate methodologies of interviews with staff and management, analysis of production, financial, and customer service records, process documentation reviews, etc.

Strategy / Programme Planning
At the end of the study we prepare a comprehensive report outlining the required interventions. They are normally of the nature of training the staff, setting up systems and initiating systemic strategic and cultural changes in the organisation. These reports and suggestions are discussed with the senior management over a few sittings.

Proposal
When the clarity emerges among the client personnel, who are stakeholders for the project or identified need areas, a detailed proposal is submitted and discussed upon. When our approach becomes clear to the client and acceptable, we submit the commercial propositions. 

Implementation and Accountability for Results
Operable plans are implemented with targeted time schedules, periodical reviews and midcourse corrections. In reality a consulting engagement always unfolds new findings, newer issues to be dealt with. Without solving these connected / related issues, the intended results may not be achieved. So we jointly work out possible solutions and timelines so that the client gets the full benefit of our expertise and guidance. We don’t rush through the time schedules and wash our hands off in the pretext of commercial contracts. We take a realistic route of certain give and take approach of pushing, pulling and goading to achieve the ultimately planned results.
